Your Vehicle Warranty & Aftermarket Parts
Upgrade with Confidence
Installing an aftermarket part from Figurati Designs does not, by itself, void your vehicle’s manufacturer warranty.
Federal law protects consumers' ability to choose aftermarket parts and independent service without automatically losing warranty coverage.
What Is the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act?
The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act is a federal law that governs consumer product warranties and provides important protections for vehicle owners.
In simple terms, a vehicle manufacturer generally cannot require you to use only its branded parts or services in order to keep your warranty intact. That means installing a Figurati Designs aftermarket part does not automatically void your vehicle warranty.
There is an important exception. If an aftermarket part is defective, improperly installed, or causes damage to another component, the manufacturer may be able to deny warranty coverage for the specific repair or damage caused by that part. This does not mean the manufacturer can simply cancel your entire vehicle warranty because an aftermarket part was installed.
