My 2016 Road Glide only has 14K but both had a blackish film on the magnet with only a 100 mile ride so its already catching some that filter lets go through. Looking forward to the Figurati magnetic oil filter.

After ordering and installing the engine dipstick, I went back to look for a transmission counterpart. The original version had a much wider head, so it wouldn't fit the M8 non-touring case; so, I had to wait for a narrow-head version to be manufactured. Given the great work (and looks) of the one in the engine, I'm looking forward to seeing what the second one can do! Pic shows both dipsticks - the transmission one is the smaller one kind of nestled behind the engine dipstick and the plastic cosmetic cover. With 146k miles on the 21 Fat Bob 114, I'd like to think the combo of the two dipsticks - and the external oil filter already installed at about 5k miles - will get the dynamic components of the bike past 300k before a teardown is required. The peace of mind that I'm doing everything to that end was worth the sticker price.

I have been looking for a dipstick for my 2014 Dyna FXDB, because the original one got broken. With the factory stock one from Harley being around the same price as this, why wouldn’t I go with the better looking one? This makes my bike pop out a lot more. Absolutely love the design, feel, and color. I am currently waiting on a transmission dipstick. Can’t wait to make it look even better with this quality made parts.

This is definitely what the new shop bike needed. The trans and oil dip sticks are pulling all the break-in from their systems straight to the stick within 40 miles of just cruising around.
